Thanksgiving Sunday

We all know it. We should thank God more than just one day out of the year. We should be thanking God every time the car starts. We should thank him every time we welcome a new child into the world. We should thank him when he blesses us with all the satisfying comforts of this life. But perhaps Thanksgiving is a good day to be reminded that we have every reason to thank God even when things aren't going particularly well. In fact, in those moments, God is doing something that is certainly worthy of our thanks. He's drawing us closer to him. Why not thank him every day and in every circumstance?
