We are so glad you are interested in making Peace Lutheran your church home. The first step in finding real peace starts with a conversation. Whether you are new to your faith or have been a Christian for years, we would love to sit down with you. Our Pastor would love to hear from you, hear your story and answer any questions you may have. 

Path toward Membership

Everyone's journey to faith is unique just as God designed us. There are different paths you may take to join our church family.  

Baptism
Baptism is the power of the Holy Spirit using water and God's Word to unite people with Jesus in his death and resurrection. Baptism washes away sins and give people the gift of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is where God works through his promises, so our church baptizes everyone, including babies. Youth Confirmation
Confirmation is intended to give those who have received basic instruction in the truths of God’s Word the opportunity publicly to confess their faith before the church. This allows young people to own their faith and  make Peace not just their family's church, but THEIR church. Children in 6th-8th grade will typically join through Confirmation classes.
Adults
Most adults will start their path by going through our Peace 101. Through this course you will deepen your understanding of the basic truths of the Bible. This course in an introductory course for all those who are seeking to join our church family at Peace. 
Transfer of Membership
If you are a current member from a sister congregation, we would love to facilitate a letter of transfer to Peace.
