The Parable of the Prodigal Son is a story told by Jesus and loved by many. It has been told and retold countless times, and for good reason. Both the younger and the older son were lost in different ways. The motives of their hearts are depicted in the story and give us a lot to consider. However, the main character of the story is neither of the two sons. It’s their gracious father.
