A Prayer for the King and his Kingdom
A SERMON BASED ON PSALM 72
Psalm 72 can easily seem like a relic of Hebrew thought that has little to do with a Christian in today's world. This sermon dusts the great prayer off, showing that it is a psalm that paints a picture of the Messiah and his kingdom. Through that imaging, the Psalm creates the longing for which it calls, becoming a prayer that calls for what the Psalm describes about the Christ and his coming kingdom.
